Greenwich - Diamantina Design

Diamantina is a modernist style home situated on a north facing corner block. The design seeks to maximise the winter sun, whilst still maintaining privacy to the home. Generous nature strips around the house block are predominately native plantings to blend with the nearby bushland areas.

The design style of the internal landscape is a sort of organic modernism. An emphasis on clean lines, curves & angles, with generous negative spaces. Plantings are soft flowing shrubs punctuated with sleek architectural  plants. A colour palette of green, chartreuse & white creates a fresh & spacious mood whilst purple creates depth, then shots of coral & magenta for impact. Even though the landscape is quite open there are distinct areas for dining, quiet seating & poolside reclining. The landscape sits easily on the gentle slope of the land and connects the home to the ground.
